On December 10, 2021, Kentucky was hit by some of the most destructive storms in the State's history. "The devastation is unlike anything I have seen in my life and I have trouble putting it into words," reported Kentucky governor Andy Beshear. The storm produced several tornadoes, with one tornado traveling more than 200 miles and through 11 counties. This storm brought severe damage and loss of life to numerous towns.
PPM is partnering with local churches and leaders in Kentucky who are actively engaged in long-term recovery efforts. Beyond the relief efforts, the local Church is stepping into our calling to show Jesus' love to others through direct action and service. Workers of all skill levels are welcome as your team will be partnered directly alongside local ministry partners leading these efforts.
Recovery is often a long process that can take several years. Join the Church as they reach out and serve their communities.
