From ancient roots and rich culture to its position as a modern crossroads, Greece is an incredible place to come alongside passionate local churches to serve their communities. On your mission trip to Greece, you can experience both bustling metropolitan cities that have been actively responding to recent influxes of refugee right alongside remnants of ancient Greek history and Biblical sites. Unlike any other European country, the awareness and availability of Scripture in a language they understand is scarce—the majority of the Greek population does not have access to the Bible in Modern Greek.
There are two paths you can take for your Greece mission trip:
Partnership Trip
Partner alongside a local Greek congregation to actively meet the needs of the community. On this Greece mission trip, you will stay with one host partner throughout the trip, building deep relationships and supporting the church’s ongoing ministry.
Biblical Site Experience
The primary focus of this mission trip to Greece is visiting important Biblical sites and walking in the pathways of the early Church. Your team will have some opportunities to engage with and serve alongside a local church, but you’ll be moving around a bit more to visit as many sites as possible. Site visits may include Corinth, Athens, and Thessaloniki and Philippi.
