On your mission trip to the Bahamas, you will discover that there is so much more than exquisite beaches and breathtaking scenery in this tropical country. While there is so much beauty here, this country will draw you into a community warm with kindness and hospitality. Praying Pelican Missions partners not only with native Bahamian pastors, but also with relocated Haitian communities, providing you the opportunity to interact with two hospitable cultures without having to go to two countries.
Your mission team will be able to utilize your unique skills, talents, and abilities while serving. We have developed relationships with pastors who desire a genuine partnership with you and have unique needs. Whether your group is made up of construction workers, nurses, youth, or families, you'll partner alongside a local church and make an impact. Our local partners have shared their vision for their communities with us and your team will play a significant role in helping them to accomplish their mission.
A long-term relationship between your Bahamas mission trip participants and the community members is within reach as you are encouraged and invited to return to the same location year after year. Our partners are ready and waiting for you to come and serve with them on your Bahamas mission trip. Your group could be made up of youth, adults, or people of all ages. Everyone will be blessed by serving on a Bahamas mission trip this year.
Our Praying Pelican Missions staff will consult with you throughout your planning and preparations to assist you with any questions you may have. Once on the ground in the Bahamas, we will take care of all of the logistics, from transportation to meal planning, so your group can simply focus on building relationships within the community and serving alongside the local church.
Note:
There is a $80 lodging surcharge, per person, for groups who lodge and serve on the island of Abaco. This is due to a lodging shortage, resulting in all groups lodging at a bunkhouse beautifully located directly on the shores of the Caribbean.
PPM's ministry is an ongoing effort to build up, encourage, and assist the local Church 365 days a year. Nearly every week of every year, we have a team serving short-term somewhere in the world. Our partner pastors and ministry leaders receive ministry support, training, and encouragement when mission teams aren't on the ground through our partner support program.
