We got to our host church, Melber Baptist in Melber, KY, just after 8pm tonight. We had our orientation meeting, got settled, and ate snacks. We're ready to serve the people of Western KY!

In a congregation regularly working with 15 people,a group our size can be a shock. Melber Baptist welcomed us with open arms, and the Spirit filled the atmosphere in an undeniable way. It was a beautiful Sunday morning!

We got to explore and talk with people from downtown Mayfield today. Mayfield was one of the two hardest hit communities by the F4 tornado that hit in December 2021. We ended our time in prayer over the community.

Camp Graves

Today we got to demo walls for Camp Graves in preparation for electrical wiring next week. This building includes 4 apartments which will be used to house families displaced by the tornado. We had fun and got a lot done!

Today we helped move and clean up an old house that had recently been excavated. This will open up a plot for New Beginnings to expand and increase their housing.

Long Term Recovery Group

Working a long side of Long Term Recovery Group we started to demo a house at a new location and knocked down all of the walls. We had a lot of fun seeing how god can work through us.

We got the pleasure of working at Starfish Orphan Ministry today. While we were there we helped sort, hang, and put out clothing so the people they serve can have a bigger variety of options to take home.
