Faith Community Fellowship

Both teams have made it to Pittsburgh safely and we are looking forward for what God has prepared this week! Praying that God would keep us with open arms as we are here to serve this week in Pittsburgh. 

This morning we were blessed to worship at Church of Our Savior in North View Heights.  Pastor Diana spoke about how we should focus on the major things in life that direct us to God by studying our scripture and to avoid focusing on the minor things in life and in the church that distract us from attaining what God wants for our lives.  The congregation was so warm and welcoming and we had a fantastic time!

We are learning how to better ourselves in conversations with people that we come in contact with this week. Hoping this training will help us share our faith with the people of Pittsburgh throughout the rest of our week! 

What an experience! This Sicilian style pizza made right here in Pittsburgh is amazing. Thin crust and loaded with cheese. We definitely will not forget this pizza. Thankful for the new experiences already this week! 

We are preparing for ministry tomorrow and worshipping too!  Thankful that God has brought our teams together.

Today we are serving in Northview Heights! Serving food to some children and playing games as well as music later with them. 

Grateful is the word of the night. We are so grateful for the neighbors that we have this week. Our neighbors Mike and Mandy from a local church hosted a cookout for us after we got back from serving all day in Northview Heights. May God bless them and continue to do good works in their lives!

Praying before we head out into the Northview Heights community for some prayer walking. God is incredible and we just want to pray over this community today. 

Last night we were able to pray over the city of Pittsburgh. The city has so much going on, so many noises and cars moving around, but up there it was just peaceful and quiet. We pray that God would make himself known to the entire city of Pittsburgh as well as Dormont and Northview Heights where we are serving! 

This morning we were able to begin painting the floor of a home in Dormont! The floor is much cleaner and brought some life back to the home!

Tonight we were able to enjoy the true Pittsburgh experience. Primanti Bros is the home for a true Pittsburgh style sandwich!
