Today we are at Carmen Feliciano Middle School. We are here to work with the students in the morning and paint in the afternoon. As soon as we got to the school we got to meet the director and she was telling us about the school and giving us a tour of the facilities and the classrooms.

Today is our second day of helping at the school. A group of us is helping in English class and we are covering verbs past, present and future. First the students introduced themselves and then we had people from the classes introduce themselves as well and share something about Jesus. Then we helped with the class.

This morning, we are making bracelets with one of the special education classes. We are having so much fun picking out their favorite colors and helping them spell their names. It’s amazing getting to share the love of God through doing crafts like this.

In the afternoon we're painting the basketball court. We still have work ahead of us but we're excited for the progress that we've made so far. We're grateful to serve the school this way.

This morning we are back at the English class. This time we are discussing the story of Daniel with the students. This is a great opportunity to be able to talk to the students about the word of God.

Both the principal of Christian Heritage Academy and the principal of Escuela Carmen Feliciano Carreras sat down to talk and listen to each other's heart for their schools-the challenges they face and how to empower their students. We also talked about future partnerships and what to do. After our talk, we finished praying for each other.

It has been a joy to follow these wonderful kids on their mission trip and to feel like we shared in just a bit of their experience. May this week always have an impact on each of their lives! Have a great trip home!

Love reading about the week of serving and growing relationships with the students at the school. Praying that God gets all the glory and that the students from BOTH schools grew in their faith!

It's so great to be able to keep track of my granddaughter and her mission group via pictures and comments! It would be really neat to see some feedback in writing comments from the participants of the group. I think it would be really great if each of the participants
