Mountain Mission Team

Saturday we made the drive from Arkansas to Oklahoma. When we arrived we were able to visit with Pastor Jay and hear a bit about the community we will be serving in this week. We are excited to see what God has in store this week!

This morning we attended service at Clearview Baptist Church. The congregation prayed over us and our week ahead. We also got to spend some time with pastor Jay who is the young adult and missions pastor at Clearview Baptist. Continue to pray for our week ahead that God will open the doors and hearts to those we get to serve. 

What a great start to the week! We went to Standpipe Hill in Tulsa to pray over the city and our week ahead. 

We got the opportunity to serve along side pastor Chet at First Free Will Baptist Church in Okmulgee OK, where he showed us what it means to bring the church to the community. 

Started the day off in prayer back in Tulsa at Bridging Hunger. 

What an amazing ministry being run by God through Pastor Rod here in Jenks, Oklahoma. Here at Bridging Hunger they prepare bags for several churches and ministries to give out to their communities. 

Praise God for an amazing morning of ministry! 

We had the opportunity to go to Baptist village. Baptist village is an assisted living home in okmulgee Oklahoma. We put on their chapel services and sang hymns, and one of our team members Richard gave the message! 

This morning for the start of recreation day we went to Greenwood Rising in Tulsa, OK and learned the history of the 1921 race massacre. 

We had a closing dinner with pastor Jay and a few other pastors at Clearview Baptist church. So grateful for the relationships and learning experience this week has brought us!
