It feels so wonderful to be in the place we have been planning on being for the past year now!
Church was so good this morning. It's a beautiful thing, knowing our church family is at home worshipping the same God that we are worshipping here in Haiti! It is so good to be in this Family that surpasses language, culture, and color. Praise God!

Pastor Delcy led us on a walk through his community. We stopped for a while at the church (also our worksite for the week) to hear pastor's vision for his church and the village. We ended the walk with a sweet time of prayer!

What an awesome day it was!
We started our morning over at the future church, also our worksite. The job this week is building up the walls with concrete blocks. That means a lot of sifting sand, a lot of mixing concrete, and a lot of passing buckets!
After a super fun time of kids ministry, or ladies put on a wonderful time of fellowship with the women of the community. We expected 20 people at Bible study...but God brought 70!!

Our work continued bright and early at the church this morning. Some of us continued sifting the never ending pile of sand, some of us carried water, and some of us were even handed the shovels to mix concrete! It was beautiful hard work! We can't wait to get back at it tomorrow.

We had an even better day today at kids ministry! They did awesome as we learned stories, sang songs, and did crafts.
Kristen played the game of how many kids can you fit in one lap... She made it to 5!

This is what our mornings have looked like for the past 3 days...sifting sand! It has been so, so cool this week to be able to continue in what our church has been a part of for the past 3 years!

We did a field day for our last afternoon with the kiddos. They are full of energy and joy, and it's contagious! We have so enjoyed loving on them and being loved in return!

We ended an incredible week with a beautiful time of rest at the beach here in Les Cayes. It was so much fun to just rest and relax with each other. And, boy, God showed off when he creates this beautiful country!

Isaiah 6:8. Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!” Blessings to you all for answering. Continued prayer for your travel.

What a joy to see your pictures and hear about the great work you are doing. God is using all of you mightily. May He continue to help and strengthen you to do the work He has ordained for you to do. May hearts be touched and drawn to Him. May chains be broken and people freed to walk in His truth and love. May the construction project be finished completely and hold firm when a storm comes. May God bless the work of your hands. As Nehemiah 2:20 said "The God of Heaven will give you success" so arise and build up the people and the community! We at home love and are praying for you. ????
