Brown Baptist Church

We made it to Miami! After a lot of preparation, we are finally here and ready for our ministry to begin! Once we got settled in our lodging location, we headed to Memorial Highway Haitian Baptist Church were we will be doing the bulk of our ministry. The team got aquatinted with one another and we had a quick tour of the facilities to better prepare for our week. We are so excited to begin our ministry here!

Please pray for our team this week and those we encounter so that they may see the Lord in us!

We're kicking off our week of VBS this morning!!

After a great morning of VBS, some of us went to serve dinner at a homeless shelter while the others stayed and continued VBS. We had an amazing time serving at the shelter! Before dinner, we took a tour of the facility and met many people who have come through the facility and turned their lives around for the sake of Christ. It was so amazing to hear their testimonies! We are looking forward to more ministry and service this week! 

Yesterday was another great day of ministry here in Miami!! We started our day with VBS and in the afternoon we spilt up again and some of us went to the Broward Outreach Center to feed the homeless. Our team had a great experience there again! A few people on our team handed out tracts and saw many people reading them as they ate. After the meal, a few of our team prayed for a man staying at the shelter. We are looking forward to another great day of ministry today!!

For our last day of VBS some of the kids helped us lead worship! We have all had a great week learning about the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

We have had an amazing week of ministry here in Miami! Even though our week is drawing to a close, we pray that our ministry does not end. We hope to carry over our experiences and the things we have learned back to our everyday lives!! We cannot wait to see how the Lord uses us!
