We closed out our first day here in Guatemala with a devotion around the bon fire followed by some worship. We are all heading to bed to catch up from the long travel day. We are excited in anticipation of the work God has ready for us tomorrow!

This morning we are gathered at Pastor Vicente's church preparing bags of food to deliver to community members. The food will be a blessing to those we deliver it to, but it will also give us a way for us to enter their homes and pray with them.

God definitely showed up during food distribution today. We visited with community members taking time to hear their stories, pray for them, and encourage them from the Lord. It was a powerful morning as families broke down in tears as the Holy Spirit moved. We can't wait to see how God continues to work in us and through us. Please pray that we will continue to be bold and led by Christ in all that we do.

We spent Saturday afternoon playing with the kids of Pastor Vicente's community and leading them in activities. We loved seeing their smiles and hearing their laughs. We are headed back to the church today, and we're excited to see our new friends again!

We had the opportunity to worship with our brothers and sisters at Pastor Vicente's church this morning. Thomas got to preach this morning and we also got to share testimonies with the congregation. Another group led Sunday school for the children up on the roof of the church.
We closed church with the kids singing a song we taught them up in front of the church!

Monday morning we went out into the community and did more home visits where we delivered food. It is so cool to see all of the youth stepping up and praying for these people in their homes!

We went to Antigua for dinner on Monday night and some of us hiked up to La Cruz - a cross that overlooks the city!

Wednesday morning we had the opportunity to do a kids program at a local school. The church we are partnering with has been trying to get into this school for a long time with no luck. When the pastor told the principle that he had a missions group to bring thru immediately opened the doors. Now the church is invited to keep coming back to the school! So cool to see how God used us to open the door for the church to continue ministry!

We went out into the community to meet people and invite them to church. Once again God put people in our path for a reason!

We had such a great night of worship with out brothers and sisters at the church. We combined together to do the service. We both led worship and we even did a song together. Pastor Jeremy led us in the word, and many of the locals were touched by his message.

Thursday morning we were busy mixing and spreading concrete for a new room at the church!

Thursday afternoon we did a VBS at the church. We had so many kids show up to learn more about Jesus!

We went to a new community in the morning where Pastora Silvis and Pastor Jorge have launched a new church. We spent the morning walking the streets and inviting people to go to the new church.
