Today was a big day for the team. Although much had been accomplished over the weekend such as arrival, worship services at local churches, and prayer walks throughout the communities in which the team would be serving. Today, the reality of why the team has come to Jamaica was discovered or should I say felt. Teams served in local Primary Schools in the morning hours reading to students, playing games with them as well as presenting the students with Biblical lessons. The students loved it and many friendships were made instantly. Teams then spent the afternoon hours mixing concrete, passing buckets, laying blocks, painting and so much more. Everyone did an awesome job serving today and they are looking forward to tomorrow, but for tonight, I believe they will sleep very well after a very long and hot day.
