We've begun! Our team is off and running. The last of us arrived in Jamaica around 6pm and we enjoyed our first Jamaican dinner of our trip! Chicken of course! The team is all doing well. After dinner we spent time in small groups and worship while spiritually preparing for our ministry and time here this week. Some of the boys of course decided to climb on the water storage tank. One of them slipped and fell on a pipe and busted it, damaging our much needed water source that everyone uses for showers, etc as the water is pumped to the lodging facility from the storage tank. Rest assured, Andy Eldemire, our bus driver, assistant leader, and general "handy man" had it fixed in about 15 minutes! Tomorrow we'll be worshiping and spending time in fellowship with our Jamaican church partners and friends. We will spend time in communities doing some evangelism and outreach and will have the opportunity to share our faith with others and the reason we're in Jamaica. It'll be an earlier evening tomorrow so we can catch up on more rest of the busy week ahead! More updates to come!
