Saints Simon & Jude Catholic Church

Welcome to Poland! We made our way up to Opole and are jumping right into kids ministry! 

What an awesome time with these kids! Crafts, snacks, dancing and sports galore! 40 kids came and we had a blast just getting to know them! What a special way to kick off our trip!

Pray that we will continue to be used by God.

This morning we got to worship at Ostoja! 

Andrew shared an incredible word with us today about peace and unity. 

Today we got to serve with House of Hope, a homeless ministry run by Sister Aldona. Pray for her and the other volunteers as they serve each day.

We made our way back to the House of Hope, and we loved to be able to go back and talk again with those we met yesterday! It was so nice to be welcomed back with smiles and hellos! 

Spending time in prayer 

Pastor Mariusz, the pastor of Ostoja, came and shared some of his story and his desire to bring unity in the Christian church. He shared that we were an answer to prayer. It was beautiful to hear his heart and pray over him. He has loved hosting us, and members of his church even joined us as we served at House of Hope. Keep him in prayer as he continues to seek unity and as they continue construction on a huge project. He is flying out, with other pastors and priests, to meet with Pope Francis to pray and seek God in bringing unity. 

Most of our team decided to go to Auschwitz. It was a really  hard day, but one we all agree that everyone should do. We learned much, and it will be something that will stay with us forever.
