After serving us a delicious breakfast, our hosts took some time to tell us about the community we are serving this week.
Montegut, Dulac has a lot of history and natural disasters have a lot to do with the lay of the land.
We are glad to be where our help is needed the most.

We took some time to visit two of the projects we will be working on.
There is lots of work to do.

Some of the work we will be doing this week includes installing siding on a house, building a railing, finishing a railing, running electrical in a couple of buildings, finishing a couple of ceilings, to name a few.
We are glad we have the skills set to help with those projects.

After breakfast this morning, we went out for a walk in the neighborhood to pray over the homes and the families that own them.
Then we went to church. We were invited to sing a song for the congregation, and it was a blessing to have the room worshiping along with us.

We discovered that the west end of the building had water damage. We pulled all the rotten materials off and put up new ones before we hung the siding.
Glad we are able to rebuild a stronger house for Annie's family.

We love the progress we have made in the last couple of days.
The front of the building is looking better and safer with the new railing. We got all the siding completed today.
More to do tomorrow, if the Lord wills.

We installed hardy boards on a fourth house.
We are glad the Lord brought us here to help in so many different ways.
