FBC Somerset

We’ve arrived in North Carolina! We are excited and ready to serve this week.

We had a full first day of ministry today! We got to worship with our host church, pack meals, and pray and worship with people in the park.

We spent the morning and most of the afternoon removing and replacing the roof of a community member in the area. The homeowners have been rebuilding their home after hurricane damage 4 years ago. 

We continued roofing today and are thankful for the opportunity to continue building relationships with the homeowners and community members who are working alongside us!

Some of our team remained at our host church to help install sheetrock and drywall to help build a new kids space. 

We continued working on the roof today and put shingles on half of the house! We are thankful for the community members teaching us how to work on a roof! 

Part of our team continued to hang sheetrock in the kids rooms at our host church! We are thankful for the leadership of Pastor Phillip as we work on this project. 

We enjoyed playing music and worshiping on the beach last night. We had so much fun worshiping Jesus and sharing His love through music.
