Church of God (Holiness)

All the way from southwest Missouri, our team from the Church of God (Holiness) is back for the second time in the port of Ensenada!! Seeing the outstanding Pacific Ocean while we drive to our lodging reminded us how amazing God's creation is and we are so excited for his plans for our trip here. 😄🌅

Today was amazing! Our team separated into two groups. Each team worked with the local church. We shared testimonies, sang beautiful worship songs, heard an impactful message, and spent time with our family in Christ in each church. We also went out around the community to invite kids and families to our VBS that will start tomorrow. God’s voice was clear in every moment.

What a blessing to be able to pray for somebody that really has faith in our Lord and Savior. Jose Manuel Parra is a man of faith. Yes, he has a health issue and has a son who is an addict but he believes that someday his son will be in restoration. His faith encourages us.

What an amazing way to start the day! We began preparing sandwiches early in the morning for the homeless in the community. As we were giving out the sandwiches and blessing the people, we were also sharing with them the good news and that Jesus loves us all.

Today we had the opportunity to visit some families that are church members of El Buen Pastor. Seeing how we connected with the people, prayed for them, and blessed them with food baskets was beautiful. This lady here was very good to us, we talked about her family, gardening, and she even gave us a gift! 

Today started at La Bufadora, a blowhole, where we got to see this amazing marine phenomenon, listen to some mariachi and buy some souvenirs for our families and friends back home. We thank God for all the good work this week but also for the moments like this where He gives us rest.
