Spring Arbor University

We split into two teams this morning and half of us went to worship at Coastline Church.

Half of our team attended church at First Free Methodist Church this morning! Before service we took the opportunity to go on a prayer walk to lift up our church and community as we prepare for a week of service. 

Yesterday we partnered with Coastline church to love on the city of Bell town by picking up trash and beautifying the streets. We love you Coastline church and we love Bell town! 

Today we are serving Coastline church by working on projects at their home base, Cedar and Spoked coffee shop in Bell town. Here you can see members of both teams landscaping in front of the building. 

Members of both teams helped to beautify Coastline church by tending to the greenery that fills the space.

After a beautiful ferry ride to Sidney Island, we drove thirty minutes to the shore for these beautiful views and icy cold water. Students and leader enjoyed sharing conversation and combing the shoreline for little treasures. 

Today some of us got the pleasure of cooking and serving the men at the Union Gospel Mission - men's shelter. 

Tonight we ended the day by singing the praises of our God. It is so awesome to have two different universities from different states coming together to worship God. 

Members of both our Spring Arbor and Belmont teams worked together to sort through tons of clothing and linens for our friends over at Union Gospel mission.

Yesterday a group of both Spring Arbor and Belmont students volunteered their time at Seattle Union Gospel Missions Riverton place to make dinner for the men going through their program.
