Earlier today, our team from Fort Bend touched down in Kaua’i, Hawaii! We are super excited for what the Lord has in store for this week. After airport pickup, the team immediately jumped into fellowship with some local youth groups at our host church Ohana Christian Fellowship. Truly amazing to see how God brings different people together under one roof! The team is excited to get the week started and begin doing the Lords’ work!

Yesterday our team had the opportunity to help serve at a local Christian school. With two campuses, the team was able to divide and conquer! Various tasks such as cleaning, weed whacking, organizing, and building were completed at both campuses! Later in the day, a small team of students went to a member of our host church and helped with various landscaping projects. To finish off the day, we took the team to Poipu Beach to see sea turtles breach and the rest of the shore. A great job done by our team and looking forward to the rest of our time here in Jesus name!

Today the team started bright and early with two incredible church services put on by our host church Ohana Christian Fellowship, with both having communion. After church, the congregation hosted a potluck where the team was able to interact with the locals and converse over incredible food. Our day then transitioned into a beautiful hike up the “Sleeping Giant” mountain. The team was able to get great pictures of a 360 degree view of the island. After the hike, our day ended with some beach relaxation and dinner to end off an awesome day. We are looking forward for what God has in store for us as we head back into the community tomorrow, in Jesus name!

To start off our week, the team divided up this morning into two teams. The first team stayed at our host church and helped start a mural painting in the youth room, along with various cleaning and organizing activities. The second team went to a local farm and helped a member of the church with planting, harvesting, and yard work. After morning work, we surprised the team with our new host location, Makanalani Ranch! The team was very excited about this move as the ranch settles on a beautiful piece of Kauai property. To end off our day, the team got to enjoy a luau, with delicious food and an incredible show, we can’t wait to see what God has in store for us tomorrow! God Bless!

Today, the team was able to sleep in before starting their day. When breakfast was over, the team went with some interns working at Makanalani ranch to help with cleaning up debris on the hiking trails and maintenance roads. After working during the day, the team was able to enjoy a huge slip-n-slide! After some serious racing at the slip-n-slide, the team began to wind down and have a group meeting to listen to the word that God put on Roberts’ heart. A great day today, and with tomorrow being our recreation day, we can not wait to see the fun activities the Lord has for us! God Bless!

Yesterday we had the opportunity to serve in camp Makanalani. It was a great opportunity to serve others and admire God’s glory in his creation. Some of our youth even made new friends (cute frog). It’s a blessing to serve God!

Today, our team started ministry with Olelo Christian Academy. They participated in chapel, worship, and fun games during the morning. Then, for the afternoon, the team split up into two groups. One group went to a farm of a member of our host church and helped out with various landscaping projects. The other group went to Olelo Christian Academy and finished painting a mural in the classrooms. Overall, it was an awesome day of ministry and we are excited for what God has in store for us as we enter our last day here in Kaua’i! God Bless!
