Arundel Christian Church

After a long day of travel, we made it to our host church location! We are so grateful for safe travels and for our host, First Presbyterian Church, who has already shown abundant hospitality to each one of us!

God is going to work so beautifully through His people this week, as He already has been doing, and we are so excited to be a part of it! 

Today, we were so blessed to worship with our host church,  First Presbyterian Church! Additionally, God blessed our entire team through a wonderful encounter with a local pizza place. We heard their stories of the storms and they allowed us to pray over them and their business. 

We will continue to pray with gratitude for these wonderful people who blessed us so generously!  

After lunch and a fun get-to-know-you game, we had a time of prayer over Pastor Jen and her husband. It was so moving and impactful to have the privilege of blessing them with prayer. God is already doing great things this week!!

After praying together, we continued to fellowship as we spent a lovely afternoon at Pennyrile Forest State Resort Park. God’s handiwork at this beach was just beautiful! 

This is Pastor Jen!  She is our host pastor and she is amazing!  She was called to our host church only 3 weeks ago!  What an honor that we get to serve her and her new church in such a time of transition!

We spent time together worshipping and heard a beautiful devotion. Each one of us has been impacted tonight by the Holy Spirit, and it is beautiful to behold!

We have had the honor of working at Pastor Jen’s house and helping with unpacking and getting settled in!

Some of us helped move appliances while others assembled an outdoor table and chairs set, and still others unpacked boxes and found homes for clothes and dishes!

We lost a bolt while assembling a chair, but we got some extra help to look for it and it was found!

We have been able to keep moving Pastor Jen into her home and office. We love getting to lighten the burden that unpacking is.

Pastor Jen and her family are great blessings to us, and we are happy to get to be a blessing to them!

We were deeply moved by the service tonight that our team put together! The worship was led by the students and the sermon, written on drywall, was given by our group leader and youth pastor. It was one of the most impactful sermons, and we were grateful to be able to pray with the community of Dunn Missionary Baptist Church!

For our recreation day, we were able to spend some relaxing time at the beach! We also got to show our skills at the local bowling alley with our teammates. Having more time fellowshipping together is such blessing!
