This afternoon we stopped by David’s Tent. David’s Tent is a 24/7 365 worship tent where somebody is always playing worship music.

In the afternoon, we walked around Union Station giving out water bottles to people experiencing homelessness. We met many people and even got to talk and pray with some! It was a very eye opening experience and we pray that seeds were planted.

After a restful night, we started our morning by packing school supplies that will be given away. Our goal is to make 300 packs. Each pack has a spiral notebook, paper, pencils, pens, folders, crayons, and erasers.

This afternoon we worked at SOMES. SOMES is So Others May Eat. They give out breakfast and lunch every single day. We helped pack lunches that will be handed out tomorrow.

In the afternoon, we got to explore the National Mall and see some monuments!

This morning we split into groups. Some of us went to Project Redirect where we danced, sang, learned about and did mock interviews with mentally handicapped people.

This afternoon we spent some time giving out groceries to people on the street. We handed out 226 bags of oatmeal, black beans, eggplant, squash, zucchini, mangos, nectarines, and blueberries.

This morning we went to the Bible Museum. It was such a cool place. We learned about different types of bibles, saw some really old bibles and some the Old and New Testaments come to life.
