Journey Mennonite Church

We've arrived! Now it's time to settle in and gear up for our week ahead.

After some prayer in small groups, we moved into free time before bed. Some of us had lots of fun playing on the church's basketball court!

Painting joys! This morning we finished the painting around the church. It was a team effort, but we got it done!

This afternoon we walked around the neighborhood of Alfa y Omega Church and picked up any trash we spotted. We also passed out fliers for the community picnic we have planned tomorrow!

Greetings from Alfa y Omega Church! We are moving on to more projects. As of right now, we are planting ferns on the side of the church facing the streetm sprucing up the place!

Before the picnic, we did some Bible skits in our small groups. Pictured is the story of Jonah and the Whale!

We had our picnic tonight. It was a blast! The community of North Minneapolis was super appreciative. The kids went ham on face paint and opened their new toys. Around 200 people showed up!

We made the hike by the Minnehaha Waterfall after lunch in the park. It was amusing for us all to get in the water and venture out, that's for sure!
