This morning we were able to serve at Goshen by painting, landscaping, making cards, and organizing donations to help prepare the grounds for a refugee family moving in!

After we finished our work for the morning we had a chance to talk with Pastor Bigimba and hear some of his story. It was amazing to hear how God has used his own trials and experience as a refugee to reach out to other refugees in the Tucson area. He has an amazing ministry!

Today we got to serve another church in Tucson that supports a flea market on their property. All of the items in the market are donated and the girls were able to sort donations and take inventory for the market. All of the proceeds from the flea market are donated to charities and foster homes!

Some of the girls got to organize and take inventory of a shed storing foster care items to keep children in foster homes. This is an amazing ministry that unites many churches across Tucson.
Pastor Tom runs an incredible ministry that has such an impact on the lives of kids in Tucson. What a privilege it was to serve with this ministry and be able to bless these children.

Half of the group that did not go to the flea market had the opportunity to serve homeless people in the park. We put together hygiene bags, food, and water to take and distribute to the homeless.
We enjoyed being the hands and feet of Jesus as we went out to serve, talk to, and pray with people. They were all so grateful to receive blessings, be prayed over, and just have someone to listen to them. It was a beautiful time of ministry!

After our morning of service we all gathered for lunch at Desert Sky church where Pastor Tom, the director of the Care Portal, shared his incredible testimony of God’s grace shown to him in his life. What a powerful story of redemption and testimony of how the Lord uses our stories for His glory and for the food of those who love Him.

This afternoon we worked with the local church, Hope City, in partnership with the local food pantry, to host a barbecue. We worked in stations greeting, grilling, serving, and enjoying time talking with the guests coming through!

This morning our group participated in Hope City Church’s service. We really enjoyed the time of song and worship. Pastor Jeff shared about the importance of solitude and listening to God's voice in your life.

Today we got to partner with Hope City and Pastor Jeff to deliver furniture to some families in the community. The girls worked hard lifting and loading and were able to bless a family.

We started our day at Gospel Rescue Mission! Gospel Rescue Mission is an amazing ministry that provides basic needs like shelter and food and they also provide an addiction recovery program, long-term housing, employment, and life skills.
This Friday they are hosting an Easter celebration where they plan to feed over 2,000 individuals. We were able to serve by prepping food in the kitchen as well as making decorations to decorate the tables for Friday! We had such a wonderful morning at an amazing ministry!

This afternoon we served at GAP Ministries, an organization that serves foster children and their families in the Tucson area. This ministry relies heavily on volunteers to serve the community.
Our team divided into teams to serve in the kitchen and the warehouse to help do the hard work behind the scenes that helps provide food, supplies, and services for these foster families as well as others in the community!

Tonight our group got to enjoy spontaneous praise and worship with the worship team as they practiced. The Holy Spirit moved in such an organic way to create an atmosphere of worship that drew our hearts closer to Him. What freedom we can experience when we release our burdens to Him and what a gift to join together with the local church to sing songs of praise to our God. He is so good!

Today we spent our last day decompressing after a week hard at work! We got to go to Sabino Canyon to hike and enjoy the beauty of the desert views.
