Citizens Youth

After finally making it to Guatemala City we were able to have some really good chicken wings and chicken bites!

We were all encouraged by pastor who shared about missions and our role as Christians!

We bought groceries at "La Barata" in preparation to visit the families who will be blessed by the bags of food we will deliver this week.

On Sunday afternoon we packed and prayed over the families that are about to be blessed by the groceries they will receive this week.

Chamusca is what we call a casual soccer game with your friends!

There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. Eph. 4:4-6

On Monday morning we had the blessing of visiting and getting to know our sister Bertha!

So strong and so mighty there is nothing my God cannot do!

We had a bonfire with our brothers and sisters from Iglesia Siloe.

After God spoke to us through Brian's sermon, we closed up by praying for each other as the one body of Christ that we are!

As a mission team, we got the opportunity to serve God by cleaning a widow's house.

Just the same way Jesus knew Zacchaeus' name, Jesus also knows our name and loves us. How cool is that? 

How inspired we are by getting to know these amazing people, whose life, words, thankfulness, and faith, encourage us to keep serving. 

God saved the best for last!  Today the kids got the opportunity to accept Jesus in their hearts!

After the kids accepted Christ, what a better way to know more about your friend than this comic-themed Bible. 

Kids wouldn't leave the church and wanted to keep on playing "otra vez " (again) with us.

We sang together "Open the Eyes of my Heart" in both languages!
