Faith Fellowship

We are very excited for our 4th time coming back to Guayabal. We can't wait to see how God has worked in this community and this Church so far. We are feeling blessed by the welcome of our friends. 

So glad to get to see Pastor Odir again, and work alongside him one more time! 

Instructions are very important in a foreign country and so the information we need to know. We want to be focused on serving well this week. 

This morning during service we learned with Pastor Gary that we are the Church even after Sunday. Let’s talk like we are still the Church with hope and confidence in our daily life, because we have a God who heals, and who fixes every struggle. 

Also, we got to share some testimonies of some of our experiences on trusting the Lord in hard times. 

" and said, “I assure you that unless you change and become like children, you will never enter the Kingdom of heaven."

We are having so much fun!!

We shared some popcorn and iced tea, the kids were having so much fun. 

Sun, dirt, sweat, were very present today but, it didn't stops us from continue working on the wall! 

What a blessed morning we had. This  specific moment we were all singing "Hallelujah" with our hearts in a stranger's house that became family now! 

After lunch we spent time with the community ladies and about 40 people showed up. We did a Worship Ring craft and then Jacky shared the beautiful word about how important and powerful worship and praise is for each of us. 

We felt blessed by them all!

Meanwhile, some of us were playing with the kids and we all had lots of fun. 

Can't wait for Children's Ministry tomorrow!!!

No matter how dirty or tired Timoty was, he was having fun!!

Prayer is a powerful way to seek the Lord for peace, rest and love... 

This is Noemy and her daughter. As we visited them yesterday for food distribution, they shared with us their tough testimony. A husband/father loss and their daily fear. We prayed over them during Women’s ministry. And as they left the church, they were confident that God will always protect and watch over them. They were new again! 

This morning we could finally finish the wall on a side of the Church. We are all tired but happy to see some part done. That was the last piece of the day!!

This morning we met this lady who shared a little bit about her story. During her pregnancy, she raised 3 children all by her self while having financial crisis, no resources and no help. God brings new mercy every morning!

We got the honor to be the hands and feet who obey the command of God that is to brings people to him at the right moment. This lady as many others, accepted Jesus in her heart for the first time. Glory to God!

In the afternoon we spent time with the kids from the community. We played soccer, faced painting, did balloons and put temporary tattoos and also painted nails with the girls. We had so much fun!! 

This morning was beautiful as well. We already give away 40 bags of food this week, and a lot of people were blessed, because we were blessed first. It surprised us that they let all of us came into their houses, they were so open and welcoming with the group and we appreciated that! 

Virginia girls are not afraid of anything here in Costa Rica, like Robyn!

Small but important projects we did this morning. Today was the last day of work and we felt blessed by the people who helped us with all the work, they were awesome! 

We couldn't make it without them. This Church has been a blessing for all of us, we can't wait to come next year and see this Church grow as a family in Christ all together. 

More than 45 ladies came and they loved it. They felt spoiled like if they didn't deserve it. We definitely enjoyed serving them and loved them!

This is Sandro, we visited him during food distribution, he used to have low back illness so we prayed over him and declared healing and his pain was gone. Nothing is imposible for God!! 

Serena and some more of us from the group didn't say a Good Bye but a See you later to our family Church. They showed us their love for all of us. We have them in our hearts and in our prayers back home!! 

Today we needed to rest, all the work has been worth it. We love our family from Costa Rica, and we are definitly coming next year! God bless this Church and Guayabal.
