The team has safely made it to Dolton! Day one was a lot of hard work but incredibly rewarding! Half the group went to Dorchester where they were able to have coffee with the Mayor and be introduced to the city of Dolton as participants there to support their community and serve them. After that the team helped clean the facilities and visited with the residents. So many members of the group absorbed this experience, and it was amazing to see them step out in boldness and compassion. We ended the evening with an AMAZING dinner by our cook K.C. - we were spoiled!
