It never gets old hearing the stories of how Jesus moves! Each night during group worship Todd asks the students to share any "God Moments" that they may have seen or experienced during the day. Tonight, students again shared many awesome stories of how they saw God's handy work taking place in peoples lives. Students shared stories of their visit to an Infirmary today and how they ministered to the residents but also how they were ministered too by the residents. The students were able to pray with those who were blind, lame, sickly, and broken. They prayed with those who do not believe and shared scripture with many residents. One of the residents who goes by the name of Brooklyn and is blind, had 7 boys mesmerized as he sat on a small pail and "preached"the gospel for more than 20 minutes. It was awesome to see them so intensely engaged. And then, a man who was prayed over by several of the students, because he had severe issues with his voice and congestion, immediately after the prayer and as the amen's were said, he shouted out in song. We are reminded "the prayers of the righteous brings much healing..." A very good day! Keep praying for your team- God is using them in mighty ways! As I am writing this I am hearing two students praying for one another and sharing their struggles! Is God awesome or what!
