Lord, Prepare Me

by Katrina Hulme | November 12, 2022 12:31 PM

We started our morning with a delicious breakfast! We sang "Sanctuary" before eating as we prepare our hearts for service this week.

We Need Blankets!!

by Katrina Hulme | November 12, 2022 11:47 PM

It is pretty cold at night during this time of year, but we knew about a local blanket store that we visited last year to get blankets for the week and for a souvenir from Mexico!

by Katrina Hulme | November 12, 2022 11:49 PM

We ended our day with some worship, reflection, and conversation about how we have seen God working already. We can't wait to worship Him with our hosts tomorrow!

World Cup Championship 2022

by Miriam Serna | November 13, 2022 11:46 PM

Mexico vs. USA

We had a super fun time playing soccer with our Mexican friends, they are passionate on the field, and both teams played fair. The USA team was defeated by Mexico this time. Hopefully, we will come back for a new challenge next year.

The team visited Maria and her daughter, Itzel. This young mother was blessed with the message that God is taking care of her and He knows all her needs.

First Day of VBS

by Jose Ivan Verdugo Garcia | November 14, 2022 11:17 PM

Our first day of VBS was a day of learning and fun, just like we see in the picture. Lots of children were playing Freeze Tag, a game that we all played when we were children! For some of us, that was a long time ago! Hahahaha!

Lesson of the Day : Take Your Place!

by Miriam Serna | November 14, 2022 11:25 PM

Just as King David kept his promise to Mephibosheth and showed mercy to him by restoring his place and putting him at the table with him as a son, God seeks us out and takes us as children.

VBS

by Miriam Serna | November 15, 2022 12:02 AM

About 18 kids show up today! We played games, learned a Bible story, and colored pictures during craft time. What a great day!

It’s a new day, and it’s time to fill these shopping carts again, and maybe find a new Mexican candy to try.

Watering Eyes

by Miriam Serna | November 15, 2022 4:48 PM

It is wonderful to hear the testimonies of people like Johana. It moves us to tears to see the gratitude, and it encourages us to know that the blessing is for them as much as it is for us.

Goodness of God

by Katrina Hulme | November 15, 2022 11:21 PM

We have been able to sing some worship songs in each home we have visited while sharing what God is showing up through scripture. It is a sweet time of worship & fellowship!

Genuine Partnership

by Katrina Hulme | November 15, 2022 11:29 PM

During our skit about Naaman, Landon got soaked and the kids loved it! We are continuing to teach the kids about God's mercy.

A Testimony of Patience

by Katrina Hulme | November 17, 2022 2:00 AM

We visited the home of some church members this morning. One woman we visited shared her testimony of how a church member, who was her son's teacher, was persistent and patient with her for over a year as she invited her to church and women's events. After our visit, she offered us bread and juice. She didn't want us to have to leave because she enjoyed our visit so much!

Last Day of VBS!

by Katrina Hulme | November 17, 2022 2:02 AM

We enjoyed our last day of VBS with a skit about the friends that lowered their friend through the roof to be healed, played games with the parachute, and made a fun craft! We are so sad to say goodbye to these joy-filled kids.

by Katrina Hulme | November 17, 2022 2:04 AM

Goodbye Service

by Katrina Hulme | November 17, 2022 2:08 AM

We shared songs and testimonies in our service tonight. Many of the people we visited during the week came to say goodbye!

Gratitude

by Katrina Hulme | November 17, 2022 2:13 AM

We ended our evening around a bonfire with pastor's family and some other church members. We shared how encouraged we were by seeing Christ in the ways they served us this week, and we also received some encouragement to continue in faith and to be a light for our generation.

Tacos!

by Katrina Hulme | November 17, 2022 7:21 PM

After some souvenir shopping in Ensenada, we enjoyed some local tacos. Many of us tried the tacos that pastor recommended, tacos de cabeza!

Final Goodbyes

by Katrina Hulme | November 17, 2022 7:23 PM

After our fun morning, we returned to the church one last time to say goodbye to Pastor Manuel and his family. It was an emotional time because we don't want to leave, but we will always remember our friends in Ensenada.
Final Goodbyes

Hasta Luego

by Katrina Hulme | November 17, 2022 7:25 PM

We made it back to the USA! We will be spending the night in San Diego before we travel home tomorrow morning.

We already miss Ensenada and the church family of Monte Sinai. We will continue praying for them and hope that we may see them again!

Hasta Luego

TESTIMONY ON HOW I GOT CURED TOTALLY FROM HERPES VIRUS BY DR ODIGIE HERBS I want to inform the public how I was cured of herpes Virus by a Doctor called Dr ODIGIE. I visited different hospitals but they gave me a list of drugs like Famvir, Zovirax, and Valtrex which are very expensive to treat the symptoms and never cured me. I was browsing through the Internet searching for remedies on Herpes and I saw comments of people talking about how Doctor odigie cured them. I Was scared because I never believed in the Internet but I was convinced to give him a try because I had no hope of being cured of herpes so I decided to contact him on his email, i searched his email on the net and I saw a lot of people testifying about his goodness. When I contacted him he gave me hope and sent a Herbal medicine to me that I took and it seriously worked for me, am a free person now without any problems, my HERPES result came out negative. You can contact him on his email: ([email protected]) +2347049458624

It's so sad to say good bye for the team and the children, but I think of the lifesaving and lasting effect it has had on all of you. I trust that The Lord has moved upon hearts and lives this week, that souls have been touched for Christ. May The Lord Bless all of you in a very deep and personal way.

What a beautiful sight! Blessed beyond words to see our children loving and serving these children. We were all born to do this. May you all feel the love of Christ as you share the Gospel and pour out His great love! But Jesus called them to him, saying, “Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God” (Luke 18:16).
