The team arrived at the Nutshell Conference Center and quickly unloaded and got settled in. Asbury always impresses us with their organization. They jump right in preparing for their week of missions.
The worship team are busy preparing for worship for this evening. We couldn't be more excited for the week.

After a wonderful night of rest and a great breakfast, we are ready to experience worship in Jamaica this morning.
After church we will be heading to a local Infirmary to visit with the residents there.

We are worshipping at William Knibb Memorial Baptist Church in Falmouth Jamaica today. It was founded in 1827 and is the place that slavery was abolished on the island.

Jackson was asked if he would like to play the drums at church today! He didn't hesitate. He jumped right in and helped lead worship. Way to go Jackson, we are so proud of you.

We have really enjoyed the meals that we have been served so far. Fried chicken, rice and peas and salad for dinner last night. This morning we had a nice meal of eggs, plantain, calaloo, fried dumplings and bread. Hamburgers and fries for lunch today.
These wonderful ladies are our chefs for the week and really pour love into each and every meal for us.

We just left the Falmouth Infirmary after having a wonderful visit with the residents there.
The team jumped in and sang, read scripture and spent time loving on the residents. We are so proud of the way they stepped out of their comfort zones and showed Jesus love in such a powerful way.

Good morning everyone from Clarkston Primary School in Jamaica.
The students were so excited when they saw the team arrive this morning. Smiles and hugs were given to the team as they got off the buses.
We are now having devotion with all of the students of the school. Please pray for the team as they will be touching the lives of over 200 children today.

The team is ready and excited to finally meet the children they have been preparing and praying for all year. Jaycee's joy radiates from her and the children feel the love she has for them.

The team will begin pouring a concrete pad so the children have a place to hold devotions each day at school. There will also be sidewalks poured from building to building so the children don't have to walk through dirt and mud when it rains.
We will also be building two swing sets for the school as they do not have any playground equipment at this time.
The principal is beyond excited that the team is here. The school has been in existence since 1836 and has never had a mission team here. She said God has blessed them in such a huge way with Asbury and PPM coming alongside them to love on their children and create a better place for them here at the school.

Dillon was pouring into the 6th grade girls from the school. He was letting them know how important it was to study and do well.
They listened intently as they also worked on giving Megan on new hairdo.

Harper and Taryn are killing it with the 3rd graders this morning. They really have a gift of teaching and keeping the children engaged. What a Joy it is to watch them spend time with the children.

We are excited to finish up the concrete pad today. Sidewalks are being formed to begin another project tomorrow. We have also received the wood for the swing sets that will begin being built today.
So much excitement here at the school. The students, teachers and principal couldn't be more excited for us to be here.

We are excited and sad about our last day. God has been so good.

The kids couldn't be more excited to have their first playground equipment.

The team worked through the rain to finish up the swing sets today. They did such a fantastic job and we are so proud of them.

What a beautiful sidewalk. We are completely In awe of the work and love the team put into the projects at Clarkstown Primary.
This sidewalk may not look like much to everyone but the difference it will make for the children to walk on when it rains and also just to get around the building without becoming muddy and dirty.
Thank you Asbury for working so hard to get all of the projects completed.

Yes the team mixed and poured this entire concrete pad. There were times that we questioned if it would be completed, however these kids were determined to get it done.
They worked tirelessly without a single complaint so the children at the school would have a place for their devotions each morning. This was a huge need due to the dirt and mud on the property.
The principal and faculty were super excited for this major addition to their school.
