The day started at 7:30am with some breakfast. We had pancakes, french toast, bacon and sausage mixed, eggs, fried dough, and oranges. We left the house at 8:30ish to go to the West Haven Children's Home, which we had previously visited. It was neat to see how everyone kept developing those friendships with the children they had previously met. We even had the opportunity to help feed some of the residents and had a dance party with them as well. After this we went to Pizza Hut for lunch. Since it was raining all day we had to change our original outdoor plans of playing soccer with the community, to going to a souvenir shop instead. We then headed back home for dinner and were fed VERY WELL tonight! We had fried chicken, jerked pork, french fries, a local Jamaican dish called run down, macaroni salad, rice, and yams with pumpkin and dumplings. Tonight Reece lead devotions and he focused on the relationships that we have made here and how we need to remember the ways that God has blessed us in the past, present, and will in the future. Overall it was another great day in Jamaica despite the rainy weather.
