it was a great day at the Garland Hall children's home today the kids were very welcome in and inviting just to see them there and they didn't hesitate to come and play with everybody they didn't know the difference as we interact they do different type of stuff Spartan they paying fingernail color drawings it was all so wonderful and then we went to the Saint James infirmary where we get to meet a lot of older people and it was a great experience some of them you could sit all day and talk to they will tell you all about their lives about their story growing up and also about their work that they used to do even though it is sad but you know you can see where they will glorify God through their situation so we just want to say it was a awesome day overall

The day began with a cool Jamaican rain, while the group happily slept in their comfortable beds. The group ate a breakfast of warm pancakes, eggs, and peppers. The group then traveled to The Church of God of Prophecy for their Sunday school and morning service at 10am. The Sunday School lesson taught of pride, humbling, and love. The morning service was filled with lots of dancing, singing, fellowship, annoiting one another with oil, and praise. It was awesome to see God's love stretched beyond the boundaries of the United States. The Holy Spirit was very present at the church. The church kindly provided lunch for the group which consisted of chicken, rice and beans, and pasta. There was a fruitcake for dessert. After the church service, the group left to visit Falmouth Infirmary, where the group sat with patients, read the Bible, and prayed with the members there. Even the members of the group that were uncomfortable reached out and interacted with the patients at the infirmary; they were willing to sit with those that needed it. After the visit at the infirmary, the group went back to the base house and had a dinner of chicken, fish, rice, beans, coleslaw, and sworel (a holiday drink). The group attended a New Year's Eve Service at 10pm at The Church of God of Prophecy again to ring in the New Year of 2018.

Our day started with a breakfast of porridge, franks, yam wraps, and some good juice. Then we went to the St. James infirmary. We got to build on the relationships that we started the first time we were there and also create new ones. We had lunch at The Island Grill and many of us tried new food, mostly jerk chicken. We went to the Mega Mart and were able to get a lot of snacks (American junk food). We also got to look around in a souvenir shop and purchase some goodies. After that we stopped at an empty soccer field, and as soon as we stepped off the bus we were swarmed by people wanting to play with us. Most of the guys played soccer and the girls played frisbee and colored. It was really amazing to see how happy it made the kids when we played with them. We pray that God will continue to guide us and show us how we can help the people we come in contact with. Also shoutout to our awesome leaders for helping us along the way! xoxo

so today beginning like any other day with our wonderful breakfast at the Anderson's guess house which after finishing that being on out to get cracking on our ministry or goal for the morning was to purchase care packages 4 the people of Bunker Hill as we went out to do that it was in a small Supermarket but we managed to get through it wasn't different experience from what we had before know after finishing purchasing the care package we head back to the Anderson's after some well-deserved rest and card game we have lunch and then went back on the road to head to Infirmary today was our last day at the trelawny Infirmary we had an amazing time so much moving experience with the residents that are there sometime you realize that it does not take much to spread God's love and the show that you care it can come by just a touch of the hand reading the Bible are having a simple conversation with someone but definitely being in the moment at that specific time it was evident today at the Infirmary as we hold hands and spend time with people playing dominoes and other stuff it was so evident that this is what God wanted us to do God bless you all

The day started at 7:30am with some breakfast. We had pancakes, french toast, bacon and sausage mixed, eggs, fried dough, and oranges. We left the house at 8:30ish to go to the West Haven Children's Home, which we had previously visited. It was neat to see how everyone kept developing those friendships with the children they had previously met. We even had the opportunity to help feed some of the residents and had a dance party with them as well. After this we went to Pizza Hut for lunch. Since it was raining all day we had to change our original outdoor plans of playing soccer with the community, to going to a souvenir shop instead. We then headed back home for dinner and were fed VERY WELL tonight! We had fried chicken, jerked pork, french fries, a local Jamaican dish called run down, macaroni salad, rice, and yams with pumpkin and dumplings. Tonight Reece lead devotions and he focused on the relationships that we have made here and how we need to remember the ways that God has blessed us in the past, present, and will in the future. Overall it was another great day in Jamaica despite the rainy weather.
