Iglesia Luterana Emmanuel

After traveling for many hours, the group has arrived at the community of Bocana de Paiwas where they will be serving at the Santísima Trinidad Christian Lutheran Church.  They have great expectations of seeing the power of God manifest during the next few days.

Después de viajar por muchas horas el grupo ha llegado a la comunidad de Bocana de Paiwas dónde estarán sirviendo en la Iglesia Cristiana Luterana Santísima Trinidad. Ellos tienen grandes expectativas de ver el poder de Dios manifestarse durante los próximos días. 

Instruye al niño en el camino correcto
y aun en su vejez no lo abandonará.

      Proverbios 22: 6

Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.

Our first day of ministry we walked for 1 hour to reach the community Bocana de Likia where we were able to have a VBS with 22 children, where we shared Bible stories and we were able to pray for the children, their families and their community.  God is good and he has a great purpose for all these children.

Nuestro primer día de ministerio caminos por 1 hora para llegar a la comunidad Bocana de Likia donde pudimos tener una VBS con 22 niños, dónde compartimos historias Biblicas y pudimos orar por los niños, sus familias y su comunidad. Dios es bueno y el tiene un gran propósito para todos estos niños. 

Beautiful are the feet of those who announce the gospel of God.  Today we were able to visit 3 homes in the Bocana de Likia community and we are very grateful to God for allowing us to serve in his kingdom.  We were able to pray for these families and share with them the message of hope and salvation.  The holy spirit touched hearts and there was restoration in these families.

Hermosos son los pies de los que anuncian el evangelio de Dios.  Hoy pudimos visitar 3 hogares en la comunidad Bocana de Likia y estamos muy agradecidos con Dios por permitirnos servir en su reino. Pudimos orar por estás familias y compartir con ellos el mensaje de esperanza y salvación.  El espíritu santo toco los corazones y hubo restauración en estás  familias.

On our second day of missions we had the opportunity to celebrate a service where we remembered with great gratitude the perfect sacrifice of our Lord Jesus on the cross of Calvary, where, being perfect, He paid for all the sins of humanity so that today we have salvation in Him.

En nuestro segundo día de misiones tuvimos la oportunidad de celebrar un servicio donde recordamos con mucho agradecimiento el sacrificio perfecto de nuestro señor Jesus en la cruz del calvario, dónde siendo él perfecto, pago por todos los pecados de la humanidad para que hoy nosotros tengamos salvación en Él. 

After the service, Pastor Immer had the opportunity to pray for some members of the congregation for spiritual and physical strength, trusting that our Lord Jesus will continue to work in our brothers of Bocana de Paiwas according to his perfect plan.

Después del servicio, El pastor Immer tuvo la oportunidad de orar por algunos miembros de la congregación por fortalezas espirituales y también física dónde confiando que nuestro señor Jesus continuará obrando en nuestros hermanos de Bocana de Paiwas de acuerdo a su plan perfecto. 

God is great and He is touching the hearts of the new generations. Today we were able to have our second day of vacation Bible school where 24 children learned stories from the Bible. We were also able to sing with them and do games and crafts.  We are planting the seed of the gospel in the hearts of these little ones so that when they grow up they can follow the right path, the path that leads to Jesus.

Dios es grande y el está tocando el corazón de las nuevas generaciones el día de hoy pudimos tener nuestro segundo día de la escuela bíblica de vacaciones donde 24 niños aprendieron historias de la Biblia, también pudimos cantar con ellos, hacer juegos y manualidades.  Estamos plantando la semilla del evangelio en los corazones de estos pequeños para que ellos cuando crezcan puedan seguir el camino correcto, el camino que lleva a Jesús.

We love serving our Lord Jesus. We want to follow His example of love and be able to share with the whole world that in Him there is life and salvation.

amamos servir a nuestro señor Jesus, queremos seguir su ejemplo de amor y poder compartir con el mundo entero que en Él hay vida y salvación.

Today we were able to work on the repair and installation of pipes for the drinking water system of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and also on improving the conditions of the shower.  Our group is very grateful to God and to the PPM 365 program for this opportunity to serve on this mission trip and to be able to exalt and proclaim the name of our Lord Jesus Christ in Bocana de Paiwas.

El día de hoy pudimos trabajar en la reparación e instalación de tuberías para el sistema de agua potable de la iglesia Luterana Santísima Trinidad y también en mejorar las condiciones de la ducha. Nuestro grupo está muy agradecido con Dios y con el programa PPM 365 por esta oportunidad de servir en este viaje misionero y poder exaltar y proclamar el nombre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo en Bocana de Paiwas.

When the church is united, God manifests himself in an extraordinary way and this generates an impact on the lives of the people, the church and the community.  Together we are better!

Cuando la iglesia está unida, Dios se manifiesta de manera extraordinaria y esto genera un impacto en la vida de las personas, la iglesia y la comunidad. Juntos somos mejores!

On our third day of this mission trip we were able to participate in a church service where we thanked God for everything he has done for us.  He is faithful, He is generous, He is holy and He loves us.  During this service 3 people accepted Jesus as their Savior and 2 people were reconciled with Jesus.  Surely today there is a great celebration in heaven for these souls.

En nuestro tercer día de este viaje misionero  pudimos participar en un servicio de la iglesia donde agradecimos a Dios por todo lo que el ha hecho por nosotros. Él es fiel, Él es generoso, Él es santo y Él nos ama.  Durante este servicio 3 personas aceptaron a Jesús como su Salvador y 2 personas se reconciliaron con Jesús. De seguro hoy hay una gran celebración en el cielo por estás almas.
