This is how we end our nights; together, in the word, with the Lord. We designate time at the beginning and end of each day to spend time with the Lord. Our hearts need to be full, so that we can pour into others!

After our drive on Saturday, we  were asked to help sing the songs for the Palm Sunday skit. We went right to work and started to learn the songs. So Sunday morning, we went on stage and sang with the kids from the church. We had a blast singing on stage!

Pantry Clean Out

On Monday, we cleaned out the back room near the kitchen. It was a long process bringing everything in and out, but with a few dance breaks we were able to get it done!

On Tuesday, we went to One Voice to fill bags for school children. The bags go to 9 different schools in the area to give to children to have food at home on days off. With a little help of worship music we filled over 800 grocery bags!

After filling all the bags with food, one of the girls suggested to write notes to put in the bags. So we were able to find some pens and paper and we wrote out some encouraging letters for the students receiving the bagged meals.

Food Pantry

On Wednesday, we helped out by filling bags for another local food pantry. They fill 150 bags every week to distribute. We helped fill the bags and carry them out to people’s cars. We then prayed over the people and food that it was going to be a blessing.

We went to the local grocery store, Goodson’s, to get cases of water for the food pantry that is run from the Pineville UMC. We loaded up the cases into the trailer and the unloaded them into the church up the road.
