David and myself have been confirming details with the local church pastors, Monika and Dariusz. We are looking forward to the great work you will do as you partner with the church in Elk this week!

Jon and Michelle arrived safely! We had a wonderful dinner together, where we could share our travel experience and get to know each other more. We prayed together and shared our excitement for the days ahead of us. 

We had an amazing time experiencing the culture and tradition of the church in Elk where we are visiting. Grateful for their openness, kindness and hearts open for receiving the word from Deric on this Sunday. Topic - Selflessness! 

Team work makes a dream work!

We’ve successfully helped the community by taking care of the gardening and landscaping at the church and community center at Stare Juchy. This is an extension of the church in Elk. A lot of kids are using the lawn and  playground daily, so it’s been a great pleasure being able to help with that ministry. 

Another day, another ministry! On today’s afternoon we mainly focused on leading some workshops and classes for kindergarten kids. The kindergarten building is very close to the church in Elk - it’s actually right next to it! 

This morning we had a good time organizing the program for the youth and kids. We covered the topic of resurrection of Jesus in the form of a skit and more detailed story and also led some games and workshops.

Another day in kindergarten ministry. Again we were happy to lead some games, workshops and crafts for them, and again we served about 30 kids. Wonderful time with the youngest. 

The last day of ministry. We enjoyed working with the Youth and Kindergarten once again on Wednesday, the final day with them. We enjoyed a final dinner with our Host Pastors Monika and Dariusz. They shared their challenges and successes reaching this quaint community of Elk, Poland. What a week it has been! Tomorrow we will enjoy one last breakfast with the team from Connection Church and bid them adieu. What a fantastic week of service together!
