Alpine Baptist Church

The team made it! Welcome to Pikeville, Kentucky!  Once the team arrived they were welcomed into the lovely Grace Baptist Church who is our amazing host church for the week. Once everyone got everything inside the church what better way to get to know each other than while sharing an ice cream sundae. The team all got to know the leaders and the leaders got to know the team. Many laughs were shared and everyone got excited for the riveting weeks plans ahead. 

After checking out the amazing Pikeville cut-through we then made our way to downtown to explore the beauty of this small Kentucky town. After we enjoyed the fun times there we made our way back to Grace Baptist where we joined the church members in having a cookout. What ana amazing opportunity it was to be able to meet so many amazing people and have some amazing conversations. Thank you Lord for making us all one happy family

After an amazing first day of work it was time to celebrate the work that we’ve done so far. Amazingly there was another PPM team here in town this week as well. We invited them over to join us at Grace Baptist for a barbecue and a time of worship together. How awesome is it that we have the opportunity to worship a good God with a bunch of random people from Pennsylvania that we’ve just met!
