Buffalo Covenant Church

Our team arrived safely from Minnesota this evening!

This morning we attended Calvary Baptist's Sunday School & Worship Service! We had a wonderful time talking with Pastor Zeb, Pastor Jason & their families, as well as the congregation!

For our first service project, we scraped, stained, and painted a deck for a sweet woman named Chris. It was hot in the sun, but we all worked hard together and listened to music to make the time go quickly.

This morning we stained the shed at the farmer’s market. We ran out of stain before we could finish the whole thing, so we are going to buy some more and finish up on Thursday morning!

After staining the shed, we visited Miss Hattie and Paul Rudd’s house to help them wash their gutters and the eves of the house. We enjoyed all working together and getting to know Hattie and Paul. 

Two of us worked with a contractor from West Virginia VOAD to help hang drywall at a construction site! Even though we didn’t get to meet the owners of the house, we know that we still made a difference in their lives. 

Today we finished painting the farmer's market stand in Rainelle! We finished staining in less than two hours!

To finish up the deck, we added hand railings so the owner of the house, Chris, can walk up and down easier. We prayed with her before we left, and she gave us a very sweet thank you card.
