Painting this week was more than just an act of service. As we painted over old layers of paint that have covered these walls for 30 years, we realized we play just a small part in what this community has done before us and will continue to do after us. We also are grateful for a fresh coat of paint that represents a new beginning for this camp after the devastation it experienced after Hurricane Maria.
