USA Ambassador Pageant Volunteers

We're ready to receive the USA Ambassador Pageant Volunteers in Puerto Rico! We are so excited to see how God will work this week.

After an amazing breakfast, we are joining the congregation of Iglesia Metodista Carlos Wesley in their worship service. We are so blessed to be able to praise the Lord with this congregation despite the cultural and language differences. 

After service, we are taking some time to walk around the community. We are taking the chance to promote the pampering activity we will be doing for the elderly tomorrow and a VBS that will be held at the church later this summer. It’s a blessing being able to get to know this amazing community.

As we wrap up our Sunday with an Old San Juan visit and evening meeting, we give thanks to God for allowing us this opportunity to serve Him in so many unique ways. Our time is best spent in His presence!

This morning we are pampering the ladies of the community in Iglesia Metodista Carlos Wesley. We are painting nails, giving hand massages and face masks, and doing makeup!

This afternoon we are painting at the church’s parsonage. We are so happy to be blessing pastor David and his fiancé in this way since they will be moving in to this place after their wedding. 

This morning we are continuing to paint the parsonage! We are hoping to finish by the afternoon!

As some of us are wrapping up the painting, others are helping organize a few items around the church. As the church receives many donations, some of them can get piled up. We are glad to be of help in this area!

We are wrapping up the day by joining the congregation of Iglesia Metodista Carlos Wesley in their prayer service. We have been praying over the world, island, kids, youth and pastors under the verse Philippians 4:13. We are so blessed to be part of such a beautiful experience. 

This morning we are joining hands with Hogar Nuevo Horizonte, which is a home for women seeking shelter from abuse or other hard situations. After worshiping together in English and Spanish, we are pampering the women with hand massages and painted nails.

Before we go enjoy the beach we are taking some time to pray over pastor David and Marielys. We are praying that the Lord continues guiding them as they do ministry and that He fills them with blessings as they embark on their new journey.

After days of hot, hard work, we are relaxing on the beach! We brought our sashes and crowns for a quick photoshoot before dinner.

We are so thankful for all of the wonderful people who have made this week possible, especially Pastor Diego for providing us with lodging as well as the cooks who help feed us breakfast and dinner. God is good!
