by Justin Jones | January 29, 2024 2:47 PM

Today we are building a new bathroom vanity at the camp. The sink in this bathroom has been broken for years and this gives us the opportunity to upgrade and bless this camp.

Hawaiian Fire Dancer

by Justin Jones | January 30, 2024 12:20 AM

Tonight Austin had the opportunity to learn how to do a Hawaii fire dance. The owner of the property we have been working at today teaches fire dancing and he wanted to show our team. It was so cool!

Preparing a Home

by Justin Jones | January 31, 2024 12:18 AM

This morning a few of us got the chance to go prepare an apartment for a family that went through the Maui fires. We cleaned, organized and decorated for the family that should move in soon.

Most of us got to go to a food distribution center that serves those that were impacted by the Maui fires.  We were able to serve, love on and pray for 57 families.

by Justin Jones | January 31, 2024 12:37 AM

Tonight we went up to Haleakala National Park. It was raining all the way up until 9000 feet when we broke out of the clouds.  It was so amazing and beautiful.

Kula Watershed Alliance

by Justin Jones | January 31, 2024 9:54 PM

Today we are headed up the mountain to the Kula fire area. We are at a property that was directly in the fire zone. Nick, part of the family that owns the property, is telling us about the fire and how it affected the property and his family.

Helping to Repair the Fire Damage

by Justin Jones | January 31, 2024 9:58 PM

Today we moved tons of mulch and spread it all over the damaged fire area. This helps to prevent mud and land slides when it rains and helps to heal the damaged ground. It was a hard day but we worked together and got so much done.

Olinda Fire Relief

by Justin Jones | February 1, 2024 1:38 PM

Today we are helping with fire relief on a 40 acre farm in the Olinda area. This farm is where the first fire started on Maui. The fire lasted for 36 hours with pop-up fires continuing for a couple of months. The farm has been owned by the same family for almost 80 years.

by Justin Jones | February 1, 2024 9:11 PM

This afternoon we went back to the Kula area to help a family spread mulch over the fire damaged area on their property.  We loved getting to know the families that we worked with.

Baby Beach

by Justin Jones | February 1, 2024 9:14 PM

Once the work was done for today we went to baby beach.  It's called baby beach because the waves don't get very big here.  Everyone loves beach time.

by Justin Jones | February 3, 2024 4:18 PM

We got to explore some lava tubes. It was really cool to read about how they were formed and all the interesting facts about how the locals have used them over the years.
