Tom's Creek Baptist Church

After church, we practiced praying for each other and sharing our life stories. This helped us prepare for sharing the Gospel and prayer walking later in the afternoon. 

Crossroads Baptist Church and Pastor Billy welcomed us in for a wonderful worship service this morning. The church currently meets in the local Farmer's Market, but some of us are excited to be part of the construction of their very own building! 

We started our construction project with our partners WARM NC. We are excited to see the progress over the next couple days.

Half of us were able to start working on the Crossroads Church project with Pastor Billy and Mr. Paul today. We read the blueprints, learned about digging a trench, and began putting in metal studs for the building. We are excited to continue this project tomorrow! 

We had a birthday party tonight! We celebrated with a variety of "happy birthday" songs and ice cream cake. 

Our new friends from Crossroads Church helped us complete the studs for the Sunday School classrooms yesterday. We also completed the water line and passed inspection!
