Remember Lahaina

This afternoon we spent some time remembering those who lost their life in the Lahaina fires and praying for those in mourning. We prayed for the displaced people and those that are distraught. Jesus came to bring hope.

This afternoon we went to Iao Valley State Monument. Some of us climbed to the lookout and others found the cool water in the creek below.
Kula Fire Cleanup

Our ministry partner, Kula Water Alliance is helping to restore the areas of Kula that were burned by the fires. We helped pick up sticks and lay mulch so that the soil can retain moisture.
Planting New Growth

We worked on the side of Haleakala mountain on steep terrain but so happy to know that our efforts will help during the rainy season to keep the soil from eroding.
More than just Clothes

In the afternoon we partnered with Maui Rescue Mission in Kihei. We had great conversations with those that came for showers and clothes. We pray that those we interacted with felt the love of the Lord today!

Prayer is Powerful

In the afternoon we were led on a prayer walk by Troy from New Hope Maui. We walked and talked with the Lord together, lifting each other up while sharing our needs and the needs of our family and friends. This conversation and prayer was done in small groups of 3 while surrounded by Maui's beauty declaring God's glory.

Preparing to Paint

Today we partnered with Living Way Maui and Pastor Gregg. Our team continued painting the parsonage behind the church. Living Way Maui serves their community in many ways. It was a blessing to be able to come alongside the church.
From Containers to the Middle of the Arena!

Oskie Rice Arena has a rodeo this weekend. We’re moving furniture and preparing the arena. This partner has helped the community with animal rescue and now restores the events that Maui loves: polo and rodeo.
