Marshall Baptist Church

Today was Father’s Day and our Heavenly Father blessed us as we worshiped at The Crossing Ministry church. We arrived to find out the internet was down so our team provided the music  The girls started off with the song He’s a Good, Good Father. The congregation was so grateful as the pastor was out of town and two of the members were sharing their testimony for the service.  That is when we realized this church was formed to support recovering drug abusers  

The message was loud and clear… While holding his son in his arms, this father shared his testimony about pray and how he gave up drugs to get his son back to be the father he was supposed to be. Just as his Heavenly Father loved him. What a testimony!

After dinner the team met for a time to share about their day and then a short devotion was given for us to take time to reflect on our mission. 

Everyone is on dumpster duty. In fact we have filled two dumpsters in two days and they just delivered the third one!

Only one person volunteered for this job! Who ever said being the hands and feet of Jesus would be easy.
