Manheim BIC Church

This is your staff for the week, Daniel and Fio! We are ready and excited to serve with you and Pastor Marco! 

We made it safe and sound to Costa Rica! We can’t wait to meet the new church and get to work alongside Pastor Marco this week! 

We woke up this morning and the sun was shining! It is a beautiful day to worship the Lord! We gathered with our brothers and sisters to worship and praise the Lord as one body! 

Anna and Olivia sang three songs for the church. It was wonderful to hear them sing and the church loved them!!

Pastor Corby shared the word this morning and he reminded us about the Body of Christ! The body cannot stand without the different parts of it, that’s the same in the body of Christ! We all accomplish one role for the same purpose, to share about Jesus. 

We had the opportunity to get to know Pastor Marco and his family! Also, we asked him questions about Pastor’s favorite thing about ministry and how he met his wife! We ended our time praying for Pastor Marco and his family!!

We went to the supermarket to get all the groceries for the Food Distribution Ministry!!

Grant and the whole team are excited to get to meet the families and pray over them! 

We went to the center of San José city to deliver meals to the homeless! We were able to pray for the homeless and deliver over 60 meals this morning! 

We had time to prepare all the items for our VBS time with the kids in the afternoon. We packed crayons, balloons and prepared the story! 

We ended our ministry time praying for this beautiful family! She is a single mom, very brave and a God’s woman! We blessed her and her family with a bag of groceries and so much love

Before leaving the streets of San Jose, we were able to walk around the Borbon and Central Market. We saw lots of things around, flowers, natural medicine, souvenirs and more! We also saw a big fish! We had a blast! 

We had an amazing time visiting families in the community! We met Mrs. Maria Ester. She is beautiful and very brave! She lives with her son and he takes care of her very well! We prayed for her and her son for good health and happiness! 

We had our last day of VBS this afternoon! We had over 20 kids and it was fun! We laughed and we rejoiced in the Lord! We learned about Joseph and how he was faithful and obedient to God! 

We did not have a big celebration service, but we had something amazing! A few brothers and sisters came and celebrated with us! There were tears, hugs and joy! 

We are thankful for Pastor Marco, the church and everyone who made this possible! It has been a blessing!
