Grace Church Youth

Today, we got to worship at our host church, which happens to be an entirely Hispanic congregation. Even though we may not have understood everything that was said, we understood the presence of the Holy Spirit. 

Part of our group walked around downtown Mayfield to see the aftermath of the December 2021 tornado. They paused for a moment to pray over the lives that were affected in this particular building. 

Part of our group sorted and cleaned bottle tops that are going to be made into park benches in memory of the tornado victims. 

We were so blessed to work at Camp Sanctuary today. We worked on demo and cleaning up the floors. Each nail that we pulled is one step closer to starting the refurbishment process. 

While working at Camp sanctuary today we learned many new skills and lessons. 

Some of our girls sorted hangers for the customers of Starfish ministries. 

Today at Starfish Orphan Ministry we worked on many different things. We helped hang clothing, moved furniture and clean glassware. 

Tonight we were blessed to have our group leaders teach the high school and young adult bible study at our host church. We learned about Nehemiah and how to face obstacles that seem too difficult to overcome. When these challenges bring fear into our lives we are reminded to turn to God in prayer.
