Alaska Baptist Church

We made it to Costa Rica! We had a great lunch, met our staff and Pastor Yosimar, and are settling into the church. Praise God for His mercy during our travel day! 

Tonight we joined the youth of our host church during their youth service. We worshipped, played some fun games, & heard a message.

On today’s service we surprised the local church with a song in Spanish that we learned before coming to the country 

During the preach Pastor Mike share about how Paul obeys God purpose, that he preach in Rome and was arrested because of that but still in that situation he kept preaching even though people reject the gospel he knew that God was working in their hearts.

And as God’s Children we most share the good news.

Today we went to grocery store to shop, and then we prepare the groceries to give to the persons in the community, we are so excited to meet them!

We had some time to sit with Pastor Yosimar and his wife Allison to get to know each other better. We hope the relationships from this week will last for years to come!

Today we shared with the primary school CENIT which is the school that pastor's wife works. We learned about Jesus with the kids and enjoyed at the end with balloons.

Today we had and amazing time sharing with different people that shared their testimonies and experience with God

We went to a local soccer field to play with the church members and youth! 

Today we went to a school to share with the kids about the gospel.

We visited seven more homes today and had some special moments while hearing people's stories and praying with them. Even though we live in different countries and have different languages, we have similar challenges, sorrows, and joys.

Today we’re spending the day at Tamarindo Beach, this place is full of amazing views and things to see around!!
