In this way we already enter the Amazon jungle taking a fast boat in the waters of the Nanay river towards the lodge that will house us for the following days.

We made it safely to our lodge down the Amazon River, and we enjoyed our first dinner together. We are fellowshipping with each other while preparing for what God has for us this week. We can't wait for tomorrow!

We visited some homes in the community to pray over families and invite them to join us for our activities this week. We will have women's ministry, youth ministry, and men's ministry - in addition to our home visits and school visits!

We take a boat into the village each day, and we are ready for another day of ministry!

We have been challenged and encouraged during our visits to families this week. While we hope that the bag of food can be a blessing to them, we are even more thankful for the time spent getting to know each other and praying for each family. 

We spent time with the youth tonight, led by our own youth on the team! We come from different parts of the world, but we have a lot in common too!

We had a variety of activities and stations for the youth, and one of them was painting Prayer Rocks to remember to pray for different things in our lives. We also had crafts of friendship bracelets, wind chimes, God's eyes, cross necklaces, and coffee filter flowers!

We have spent every morning in the schools, building relationships and sharing the hope that we have in Christ!

We will remember these friendships in Peru even after we go back home!
