Kirk Crossing Church

We made it to Jackson, Mississippi last night and we are so excited to see what God has in store for us this week!

This morning we went to Hilltop Church and had an amazing service! Pastor Daniel gave an encouraging and challenging message about living out our faith boldly. We had a special moment where we got to pray over Pastor Daniel and his family! Leaving church today we feel empowered and called to be bold & unashamed in our faith!

We enjoyed some yummy pizza from Sal & Mookie’s after church!

We went grocery shopping today for one the ministries that we’ll help with later this week! The physical food helps open up the door to where we can also give them spiritual food, through prayer! We are super excited to see how God uses this food!

This morning we broke up into two teams. The first team help scraped old paint off of the Mens Home that is part of the CareCenter, to prepare the wall for a new fresh coat of paint!

While one team was scraping off paint, we were helping clean up some of the streets in Jackson. We pulled weeds, picked up trash & leaves and scraped dirt off of the sides of the road to help make it look nicer!

This morning, the purple team shared the morning devo for the team! We learned about Ruth!

We broke into teams again this morning. Half of us went out into the streets around Hilltop Church and helped cleaned up trash. When we stopped at the church for some AC we got to pray over one of the men from the CareCenter Men’s home! Such a special and powerful moment!

This morning, our devotion was brought to us by the blue team! They spoke about Esther!

Today the pink team led our devos! They taught us about David!

We are ready to serve and pray for the people in Jackson! Praying that the Lord brings the people that need to be here!

We passed out food and prayer for every one that came! Thank you Jesus for the boldness & confidence that you gave us to pray for your children! Our hearts are so full!

At soul snatchers we were able to talk to some of the women from the women’s home with CareCenter and hear some of their stories! We were then able to pray over them! Thank you Jesus for taking what the enemy meant for evil & turning it for good!
