Family in Christ has made it to Port Charlotte, FL! It was a long day of travel but we are exited to be here at Wintergarden Presbyterian Church. We are blessed beyond measure to serve this community and can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store for us this week.

First day projects are underway! Half of us are doing floor and the other half are doing drywall. it’s hot and sweaty work but it’s work that needs doing.

Spent the morning finishing up drywall and insulation. Then off to the beach for rec, but of course got a flat tire. Was awesome to see the team jump in to fix it.

After a chaotic day of work, the sun and a flat tire it is always nice to spend time in worship and fellowship with one another.

It is such a joy to see all of the hard work you are doing serving Christ and the community. You are such an encouragement to all around you, everyday. Not just on mission. As I was praying for all of you this morning and God shared this verse with me. 1 Corinthians 15:58 "So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless." Everything you do for Christ, God uses to advance his Kingdom. Keep up the good work for Christ. Love you all.

I am so thankful that each of you made it safely. I am praying for each of you to not only enjoy what God has planned for you, but to also bless others being the hands a feet of Christ. 1 Corinthians 12:4-7 says "There are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit is the source of them all. There are different kinds of services, but we serve the same Lord. God works in different ways, but it is the same God who does the work in all of us. A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other." I am praying that each of you uses your special gifts from God to help one another and the people in the community God has brought you to. Love you all, Andie
