After church we headed to get lunch at a Greek restaurant called Kiefer’s. Once we finished eating we headed to the Civil Rights Museum in Jackson. It was really cool to learn about the history of not only the state in which we are serving, but the United States. It was also amazing to see how God worked and moved throughout time. It was especially inspiring to see how having faith provided such hope for the future!

We got to spend the day at Stewpot’s clothing store! We got to organize and sort through clothing items so that they are prepared for the upcoming winter season. It was amazing to see God at work by allowing the group to spend more time with one another and build stronger connections and relationships. It was also amazing to see God work through us by helping not only the workers who run the store but also help future costumers have clothes for the winter time.

After serving at Stewpot and Carecenter we got to go to Mustard Seed Ministries! This was such an amazing ministry. They have day and residential programs for those with Down Syndrome. We got to sit, talk, play games, make crafts and sing karaoke with the seasters. What an amazing opportunity this was to get to see how God is working and moving in this place.

Today part of the group got to go back to Carecenter and work on the women’s housing. To start off the washer broke so we helped clean up the water and ring out all the clothes and hung them up to dry. Then we helped build new stairs and a porch for the front of the house! Afterwards we got to hear amazing testimonies of the women who are currently going through the program.

After finishing the steps we came inside and got to listen to the testimonies of the women going through the program at Carecenter Ministries. What an amazing opportunity to see God working and moving through this ministry and making these women a new creation in Him!

After heading back to Brandon Baptist Church we got to do a debrief of the day and worship. Then Andy did a devotion on the Lord's prayer and gave directions on how to pray over people. It was amazing to see God work through this devotion and prepare the group to pray over the people that come to the food pantry tomorrow.

What an amazing way the group got to serve this ministry. Their van is a big part of what brings them attention so that they can gain more support for the ministry work they are doing! And even bring more volunteers, workers, and people to join the program! So amazing to see God work through them in this way!

After going to Mustard Seed we headed back to the church for dinner. After dinner we went back to Hilltop church to worship with everyone we served with this morning and afternoon.

After the worship service our group stayed longer and continued to pray and worship together! How amazing to see God work and move in the group! By the end of the night 5 kids gave their life to Christ!

Today the group got to go alongside carecenter ministries to do an out reach in Jackson! We had free burgers, hotdogs, and chips! Most importantly we had free prayer! As each person would come up to grab food one of us from the group would come and pray over them! How amazing it was to see God work through this outreach and get more people from the community connected with this ministry and church!
