Community Worship Fellowship Youth Group

Our Costa Rica local staff is ready and excited. We are looking forward to meeting the team at the airport and enjoying this week of ministry. 

After long flights we finally made it to Costa Rica. After a traditional breakfast we drove to Lagunilla and arrived just in time to have service with our brothers and sisters. 

We had an amazing time this morning sharing the service with the local church in Lagunilla. We led worship and Aaron preached about the principals of love, and how love is our common language.

During service this morning, we had the opportunity to minister to the children of the church. We shared a Bible class and led fun activities with our friends. It has been really encouraging to see how the kids group keeps growing.

We started our construction project, mixing concrete and working on painting the metal structure for the roof. Our goal is to build a new room for the pastoral house this week.

Construction is going very well.  Today we built the new floor and God provided a concrete mixer to help us work faster and better; great progress. 

We had an amazing afternoon with the ladies from the community of Lagunilla. During our ministry time the local women worked on a project to take home, decorating a beautiful bag they can use every day.

Today, our team went out to the community and visited several families in need to provide a gift of food on behalf of the local church and Pastor Edgar. During this time we prayed for different requests these families had, and got to share powerful testimonies with them.

Today we are working on the roof of the pastoral house. It's great to see how everything is coming together. Everyone plays an important role and we work as a team to be a blessing for our sister church. 

This morning we spent some quality time with the elderly from the church. We are learning so much from them. They appreciate having us around. New friendships are being built and the love of God is present every day while we serve. 

We are making so many great connections with the children in the community. VBS is really important for us, sharing Bible stories, games and crafts with our little friends. We let them know God loves them unconditionally. 

It has been fantastic to visit different families in the community with Pastor Edgar, doing evangelism and offering prayer. Every home welcomed us with open arms and that allowed us to really get to know people and present their needs before God in unity.

We can see great progress now. Today our construction crew focused on building the walls and electric system for the new building. It is a blessing for us to use our construction skills for the glory of God and encourage Pastor Edgar and the church in Lagunilla. 

We have experienced the joy of the Lord this week working together on the construction project. The church is so thankful. We appreciate all the workers from our team that did an excellent job. The new room is ready, with walls, roof, ceiling and tile floor.

This week, we visited 20 families in Lagunilla. Every single one of them was an opportunity to minister to people with the local church and make Godly connections. We prayed over the families and the Holy Spirit worked in mighty ways every time. 

Today we celebrated everything the Lord has done in the past week. Our team had the opportunity to share encouraging testimonies with the local church and thank them for their hospitality. Our lives have been transformed. We are looking forward to coming back soon!
