Christ the King Church

After getting settled in, Todd took us out on the boat. Todd and his wife, Stephanie, graciously let us stay at their home. We had a fun time jumping in the water. We came back and had s’mores by the fire. Great way to start off our week and can’t wait to serve this community! 

This morning we were blessed by Pastor Randy and the Cobb Island Baptist Church congregation. Jack have a short testimony that reminded us all that God works in the everyday things, you don’t need a life changing event to share your story.

the ROCKY RAILWAY!!

We got our first class tickets and abroad we were. Excited to share that Jesus loves us with the kids that will come this week. 

We continued to mulch and beautify the beds in front of the church. 

Inside we finished polishing the pews. 

It's awesome to see the transformations both inside and outside of the church!

For rec day, Todd and Aileen from Cobb Island Baptist Church took us tubing! We had a blast!

We can’t believe the week is almost over! We love connecting with the kids through song and dance, crafts, games, and a Bible story. 

Today we helped clean up the yards of several church members who are widows or have family members/friends that recently died. Here’s a photo of Gizzi’s house.
